In his teens, Ola worked in a music store, repairing and setting up instruments and building a few guitars of his own. After a 15-year career in the software industry, burnout led him back to the bench, where he began rethinking the guitar from the player’s perspective. This player-first approach became the Ergonomic Guitar System (EGS), a philosophy that values comfort, health, and creative expression as much as tone and aesthetics.
Outside the workshop, Ola is an avid cyclist, a Leica camera enthusiast, and a passionate photographer—pursuits that reflect his love for precision, design, and craftsmanship. Married with grown children, he remains driven by curiosity, always seeking new ways to inspire musicians and reimagine what a guitar can be.
